Donald Trump’s furious attacks on Bruce Springsteen sank to a new low in a bizarre Truth Social outburst, the second in 13 hours.
The 79-year-old president has attacked Springsteen, 76, repeatedly on social media over the past year. But he ramped up the abuse this week after the rock icon told a crowd in Minneapolis on Tuesday, “We live in dangerous times.”
Kicking off his new “very political” U.S. tour, Springsteen then condemned Trump by saying America is currently “in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous administration.”
The musician also performed during a “No Kings” protest against Trump in St. Paul, Minnesota, last week.

That prompted the president to lash out on Truth Social on Thursday morning, calling Springsteen a “bad and very boring singer... who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon.”
The president then diagnosed Springsteen as suffering from “a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS.”
On Thursday evening, Trump was still feeling tougher than the rest, and made a wild allegation about the legendary musician.
“Is Bruce Springsteen going to sue his plastic surgeon?” Trump wrote.

The Daily Beast has contacted Springsteen’s representatives for comment.
During his attacks on Thursday, Trump also attempted to shut down any possible but unlikely crossover between his MAGA fanbase and Springsteen’s audience.
“MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. AMERICA IS BACK!!!”

There are only limited tickets remaining for Springsteen’s Land of Hope and Dreams American tour. The tour finishes in Washington, D.C, in May, which is a deliberately strategic move by Springsteen.
“The tour is going to be political and very topical about what’s going on in the country,” Springsteen told The Minnesota Star Tribune. “Minneapolis and St. Paul, that was the place I wanted to begin it, and I wanted to end it in Washington.”
Springsteen wrote the song “Streets of Minneapolis” after the fatal shooting of U.S. citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents in January.
Speaking on stage in Minneapolis, Springsteen told fans, “If you’re feeling helpless, hopeless, betrayed, frustrated, angry, I know. I mean, that’s why the E Street Band is here tonight. This is a tour that was not planned. We’re here tonight because we need to feel your hope and your strength, and we want to bring some hope and some strength for you. I hope we did that.”

He added, “All I can say is God bless Alex Pretti, God bless Renee Good, God bless you, and God bless America.”
Trump has been obsessing over Springsteen’s appearance for almost over a year.
In May last year, Trump lashed out after learning that Springsteen had bad-mouthed him while touring in the U.K, labeling him “treasonous.”
“Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy,” Trump said of Springsteen, who has sold over 150 million records worldwide and won 20 Grammy awards.

Trump called him a “dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker” whose “skin is all atrophied!”
