Speaking from Japan, President Donald Trump called the mass shooting that claimed the lives of at least 26 people at a Texas church Sunday morning “an act of evil.” “In dark times, and these are dark times, such as these, Americans do what they do best: they pull together,” Trump said at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. “We join hands, we lock arms, and through the tears and through the sadness, we stand strong, oh so strong.”
