Trump Would ‘Love’ to Have Ivanka And Jared ‘Involved’

President-elect Donald Trump has said he’d like to have his daughter and son-in-law “involved” in his work in the White House. In an interview with Fox News Sunday, Trump said he was “working that out” when asked if Ivanka and Jared Kushner would be moving to D.C. with him. “They’re both very talented people,” he said. “I would love to be able to have them involved,” he said. “If you look at Ivanka -- she's so strongly, as you know, into the women's issues and childcare...Nobody could do better than her.” As for Ivanka’s husband, Trump said Jared Kushner is a “very talented guy” and could potentially help secure deals with other countries. “So we're looking at that from a legal standpoint right now,” he said. Concerns have arisen in recent weeks about Trump allowing his and his family’s business to benefit from the presidency. Although Trump has promised to put his business aside to run the country, many aren’t so quick to take him at his word. Notably, Ivanka sat in on Trump’s first face-to-face with a foreign leader, Japan’s Shinzo Abe, last month. A report later surfaced that her clothing line had been in the midst of closing a business deal in Tokyo at the time, further fueling concerns that the Trump family would use the presidency to boost their business.
