Turkey: Suruc Attacker Was Homegrown

Turkish officials identified the attacker on the majority-Kurdish town of Suruc through DNA testing. “As a result of DNA tests, we confirm that the assailant is a 20-year-old man registered in Adiyaman,” an official told AFP. Some reports suggest the man, identified as S.A.A., had ties to ISIS militants. Officials are also reportedly investigating whether a female corpse at the scene was a second attacker.
