Turkey Urges Syria Evacuation

Turkey has urged its citizens in Syria to return home on the anniversary of Syria's uprising, saying unrest in the region has led to "serious security risks." The foreign ministry also said in a statement that the Turkish Embassy in Damascus would halt consular services on March 22, and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested that there should be a safe zone on the Turkey-Syria border, where refugees have increased in recent days.
