Turkish Passenger Jet Skids Off Runway Toward Black Sea

A Turkish passenger jet skidded off the runway on Saturday in Trabzon, with the plane nearly plunging into the Black Sea. The plane, a Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800 that departed from Ankara, had 168 people on board and was pictured with its nose toward the water at the edge of a cliff. According to officials, nobody was injured in the near-miss, which is under investigation.
