Twenty Dead in Arkansas Flash Floods

Rescue efforts continue.

At least 20 people have drowned in flash floods in western Arkansas after the Albert Pike Campground was inundated with floodwaters that rose as swiftly as eight feet an hour. Rescuers are searching for anyone who may still be at the site, and according to State police spokesman Bill Sadler, National Guard helicopters have been dispatched to the scene. Parts of Arkansas still remain under a flash-flood watch.
