
On Wednesday, news spread quickly that Elizabeth Taylor, one of Hollywood's only remaining icons, had died at the age of 79. Dita Von Teese posted a pic of her meeting with Taylor, and tweeted, "My biggest "I can't believe this is happening" moment: Rest in peace, Divine Liz."

This past week Hollywood came out in support of mega-producer Jerry Weintraub's documentary, His Way, based on the autobiography, When I Stop Talking, You'll Know I'm Dead. Celebs in attendance included, Sharon Stone, Matt Damon, and Cindy Crawford, who tweeted: "On the red carpet for Jerry Weintraub's new HBO movie, His Way!" Weintraub's work has spanned over three decades, and has included the The Karate Kid and Ocean's Eleven films series.

Tom Hanks is suited up for a little plaster casting, though it's unclear whether this is for one of his upcoming films, such as Cloud Atlas (based on the 2004 novel by David Mitchell) or if it's just another prank. As Hanks tweeted: "A glamorous day in the movie biz. Hanx."

This Tuesday, Lady Gaga visited Google headquarters in Mountain View, California for a taped interview at Google. In the interview, Gaga spoke about how her music campaign began with "online and media based advertising," and, of course, Gaga's love for her fans (aka Monsters). She tweeted, "- Just left Google, what a genius team. Tweeting video interview soon with details about album+Judas!"

Her Desperate Housewives character, Gabby, might seem a little desperate, but Eva Longoria is proving to the world that she's more than just a pretty face. In this pic, the newly-divorced Longoria shows off her cookbook, Eva's Kitchen. She tweeted, "Look at this! Just got a copy of my cookbook! I'm so excited about it! If u luv to cook like me u can get it April 5..."

Since hosting the Oscars last month, James Franco has received some serious backlash from his lackluster performance. This week, the Franco-hating reached fever pitch when Oscar writer Bruce Vilanch told New York magazine: "I have to call James Franco and tell him the show's over." Franco retaliated: "Bruce, you let me down," he tweeted, along with a doctored photo of himself and Vilanch covered in pink scrawl: "James Franco fucked up the Oscars. Trust me, I know comedy. I mean, come on, I write for Bette Midler!" But as soon as we got excited about a brewing Twitter war, Vilanch apologized, and Franco recanted. After removing the picture from his Twitter account, he tweeted: "Thanks Bruce, sorry for reading stupid blogs. James."

Kristen Bell may have revealed a surprise to her fans via Twitter this week -- and it's not simply that she watches American Idol. According to Bell's tweet, "My adorable husband, @daxshepard1 voting 4 his favorite american idol. Over and over again," she and the Parenthood actor finally tied the knot! Or did they? In other celebrity "husband" talk, Pink apparently does more than just support her husband's attractive television favorites, it seems she accompanies him to Hooters for—what else?—the wings. And she has the receipt to prove it. Pink tweeted, "Ahhh, the things we do for our husbands :)"

Never missing an opportunity to dress up, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher donned full pig suits this week to celebrate Purim. Before, as Page Six reports hitting New York's Meatpacking district for a night on the town. As Moore tweeted: "A couple of "Kosher" plushy Pigs for Purim!!!"

There was a "Situation" at the Status Nightclub in Pleasanton, California last weekend, when the Jersey Shore's Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino showed up to party. In preparation for his appearance, and his show's hot season finale, Sitch cooled off in the pool, and promoted his favorite pastimes, tweeting, "#GTL."

Snooki sure has a lot of "love" to go around, between her current boyfriend, Jionni LaValle (her ex's cousin), her on-camera pseudo-love for Vinny, and these pictured Gorilla Juicehead bodyguards, this Jersey Shore girl has it made in GTL heaven. Snooki tweeted, "My guards , ha love them!"

April Fool's? But wait…it's still March! This week, Jessica Simpson posted a pic of a pair of turquoise scuba-fin high heels, and tweeted: "Scuba gear coming soon for @jscollection heels for every occasion ;)" We'll see how this one turns out.

The Broadway show Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony opened—and closed—last week to rave reviews. The day before her curtain call, Griffin rested on the floor, while drinking a smoothie, and tweeted, “This how all #Broadway stars roll before a show, right?...”
