The losers must feel really unwanted. Two separate candidates in the state of Washington are winning elections from Tuesday even though both are dead. In Des Moines (a Seattle suburb), John Rosentangle, who died at 63 from an illness in August, won 71 percent of the vote in the King County Water District. In Aberdeen, John Erak who passed away at 81 in June is winning in a city council race with 53 percent of the vote. Both passed away after the filing period ended and their names could not be removed from ballots.
