The United Arab Emirates is denying a claim from Yemen’s Houthi rebels that they fired a missile at an under-construction nuclear power plant in Abu Dhabi. The Houthis said the cruise missile “successfully [hit] its target,” as a response to the UAE’s decision to close off sea and air ports. “U.A.E. possesses an air defense system capable of dealing with any threat of any kind and the project of Barakah reactor is immune,” the state-run news agency wrote on Twitter.
