The University of Connecticut won its third NCAA men’s basketball title on Monday after defeating Butler 53-41. The team can thank its defense: Butler went just 12-for-64 shooting, the worst ever for a championship game. At 68, UConn coach Jim Calhoun became the oldest ever to win a championship and one of just five to have ever won three or more championships.
