U.K. Marks 7/7 Attacks Anniversary

The U.K. held memorial events Tuesday for the 52 victims of the July 7, 2005, terror attack on London. Four suicide bombers carried out a series of coordinated attacks on public transit. The attackers claimed to be inspired by al Qaeda. “Ten years on from the 7/7 London attacks, the threat from terrorism continues to be as real as it is deadly—the murder of 30 innocent Britons whilst holidaying in Tunisia is a brutal reminder of that fact,” said Prime Minister David Cameron. “But we will never be cowed by terrorism.”
