U.K. Royal Guards Issued Stun Guns

Try attacking Prince Charles’ car now! Following student protests last year that threatened the vehicle of Britain’s royal heir and his wife Camilla, the guards of Queen Elizabeth’s clan will now be outfitted with controversial stun guns. Royal police officers described themselves as helpless on the day of the attack, a situation sought to be remedied with the “non-lethal” tasers, which inject a shock of up to 50,000 volts on their victims. But Ken Wharfe, the man who once protected Princess Diana, said he worries that the extra item “will lead to confusion about which weapon to use.”
