Here’s a poll that should inspire some confidence, at least for the Romney campaign. According to a survey by USA Today and Suffolk University, President Obama is leading opponent Mitt Romney 2–1 among “unlikely voters.” Two thirds of people who probably won’t bother going to the polls in November are, in fact, registered, and of them, 43 percent support Obama. Overall, unlikely voters are pretty disenchanted and not very politically engaged. Sixty percent of them say they avoid politics because “nothing ever gets done,” and only 39 percent of them know Joe Biden’s name.
