The shoe industry has joined the green movement: manufacturers have begun launching stylish shoes that don’t use any animal products. Advances in synthetic leather and faux suede have paved the way for more stylish, and comfortable footwear. OlsenHaus, Neuara, and Stella McCartney are just a few shoe brand names that have begun carrying vegan footwear. Times have never been better for vegan fashion. Vegan apparel and accessories companies are sprouting up everywhere in the U.S,” says Michael McGraw, spokesman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
