U.S.: Al Qaeda Trained Said Kouachi

A senior U.S. official says one of the two Kouachi brothers suspected of carrying out the Charlie Hebdo attack trained with al Qaeda in Yemen. Said Kouachi, 34, spent a “few months” being trained in the small arms combat and marksmanship skills used in the Wednesday attack, said the official. U.S. intelligence officials said they are still trying to determine if the al Qaeda cell ordered the attack, which left 12 dead.
