A U.S. defense official told Fox News and NBC that a U.S. predator drone fired on the convoy that held Muammar Gaddafi shortly before his death. The drone, reportedly, was working with a French fighter jet, which fired on a "large convoy" comprising 80 vehicles leaving Sirte. The shot did not destroy the convoy, and afterward a firefight ensued on the ground.
