U.S. Facing Retirement Crisis

Despite a rising stock market and improving economy, employers and employees in the U.S. are facing a potential retirement crisis. According to The Wall Street Journal, 57 percent of U.S. workers have less than $25,000 in savings, not including their homes, compared with 49 percent in 2008. In addition, rising life expectancies might add $97 billion to company pension liabilities in the years ahead.
