Did eBay employees spy on Craigslist? Allegations of foul play between the two Internet giants has spurred a criminal probe. U.S. prosecutors are investigating whether the online auction site took advantage of its seat on Craigslist’s board to further its own plans for a new Craigslist competitor. Craigslist claims eBay employees used access to the companies confidential business plans to further its own rival venture.
