The Pentagon said Monday Russia is working on a military buildup at a Syrian airport, indicating the country's desire to have a base for air operations there. No helicopters or fighter jets have arrived yet. This is the first time the U.S. has confirmed earlier reporting, including from The Daily Beast, of a Russian air build-up in Syria.
