U.S., Russia Point Fingers over Syria Ceasefire Violations

The U.S. and Russia are pointing fingers at each other over alleged violations of a Syria ceasefire agreement agreed to last week. The Russian foreign ministry accused U.S.-backed forces of increasing attacks on “residential neighborhoods.” State Department spokesman Mark Toner acknowledged “violations by both sides.” The goal of the ceasefire was to deliver humanitarian aid to besieged areas of the war-torn country.
