U.S. Sweeps Slopestyle Medals

In what is only the third time in the Winter Olympics that the U.S. has swept medals in an event, Joss Christensen led the way for gold, silver, and bronze in slopestyle skiing. Christensen, 22, who was the last skier to make the U.S. cut, was joined by teammates Gus Kenworthy and Nick Goepper, who took the silver and bronze, respectively. Christensen’s winning run included a move called the switch triple 1440, which involved hitting the jump while skiing backward.
