U.S. Won't Recognize Crimea Vote

Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday in London after a meeting with Russia's foreign minister that the United States will not recognize the results of Sunday's referendum in Crimea on joining Russia. Meanwhile, Sergey Lavrov said Russia has "no plans for military intrusion in Eastern Ukraine," despite reports that tens of thousands of Russian troops have massed along the border. Lavrov also said Moscow is "committed to respect the outcome of the referendum" in Crimea on Sunday on whether to join Russia.
