Utah Pols Mock Transgender Issue

We don't want to hear about your bathroom issues. Two Utah politicians are in hot water over offensive tweets making light of gender identification. State Rep. Jacob Anderegg tweeted that since the men's bathroom in the building was occupied he was "strongly considering a gender identifying change to use the open womens." This prompted a response by President of the Senate, Wayne Niederhauser, who wrote, "First supporting SB 100, now switching your gender identity? Just can't keep up with you. You're a new man! erm... woman..." Anderegg has apologized and Niederhauser responded to the outcry by saying it was an intern who sent the offending tweet, and inviting transgender activists to meet with him and his interns this afternoon.
