Three graduates from the University of Virginia are suing Rolling Stone magazine, one of its journalist and its publisher Wenner Media for defamation and inflicting emotional distress. The three men were all members of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, which was the center of a now-debunked article on fraternity gang rape published by the magazine in 2014. They claim the glossy was negligent in publishing “A Rape on Campus” and are seeking damages.
