R. Scott Silverthorne, the mayor of Fairfax, Virginia, is set to resign after being arrested on drug charges. He allegedly tried to trade two grams of methamphetamine for sex in what ended up being an undercover sting operation. While his attorneys say he is not the drug dealer involved, Silverthorne plans to resign on Thursday.
