The Spring Breakers actress is the newest celebrity chiming in on Tumblr. From Britney Spears to George Takei, see the blogs worth following and unfollowing (sorry Beyoncè).

It’s only a few days old, but Vanessa Hudgens’s Tumblr is a must-follow. The blog is an equal mix of lifestyle and personal posts, sharing Hudgens’s pop-culture obsessions and even answering questions from fans. It’s also the place for new music from Hudgens, as she shared her Spring Breakers- inspired track “$$ex” on her blog.

One of Tumblr’s earliest celebrity users (he joined in September 2009), Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s blog is filled with personal photos, memes, and updates on HitRECord, his collaborative production company.

While it’s pretty plain looking, actor Joshua Malina’s Tumblr is filled with tantalizing Scandal behind-the-scenes scoops. Malina has also used his blog as a form of activism, sharing with his followers his participation in the SNAP Challenge to raise awareness of hunger issues.

While it doesn’t seem to be run by Brit Brit herself, Britney Spears’s official Tumblr is a fun, GIF-filled retrospective of her extensive career, perfect for the Tumblr-obsessed who grew up with the Princess of Pop.

George Takei’s blog is worth following for the title and worth staying for the memes. As the title implies, Are You Talking to Meme is filled with the best creations of the Internet with Takei’s added commentary.

Paramore’s lead singer Hayley Williams is a great musician to follow on Tumblr with her endearing blog, Let’s Be Freaks. Williams doesn’t just post about Paramore; she regularly reblogs amusing photos, cartoons, and quotes, showing that she’s a fan, just like her followers.

Even though he declared it over back in 2009, James Franco is still active on social media. He shouldn’t be though, as his Tumblr account, Rabbit TV, is filled with bizarre photos and nonsensical captions, exactly like his Twitter account.

She may be the Queen of the Internet but Felicia Day’s Tumblr, Felicia’s Melange, is somewhat of a disappointment. While it’s a great place to catch up with her latest video, we wish she would combine her powers of comedy and geekdom to create more Tumblr-exclusive content.

While Criminal Minds star Matthew Gray Gubler’s willingness to post embarrassing photos of himself on the Internet is appreciated, his Tumblr account is limited in its offerings, mainly duplicating posts from his WhoSay account.

While Zooey Deschanel’s blog, Zooey’s Miscellany, is filled with quirky posts and behind-the-scenes photos, her website’s Hello Giggles blog is even better to follow. The blog updates multiple times a day with articles, pictures, and GIFs that are often reblogged anyway on Deschanel’s account.

She runs the world and has inspired an infinite number of GIFs, but Beyoncè’s Tumblr, I am Beyonce, could use some improvements. Posting beautiful photos of Beyoncè is a great start, but adding more personal posts, like this powerful endorsement of marriage equality, would make the blog a must-follow.

Lady Gaga has such a large following on social media that she created her own social network for her monsters, making it time to unfollow her on Tumblr. Lady Gaga seems to agree with this idea, as her avant garde fashion blog Amen Fashion has been abandoned.
