Venus Williams will no longer look to claim her third U.S. Open title this year. Williams revealed that she has been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Sjögren’s syndrome and pulled out of the tournament Wednesday before her second-round match. The disease causes fatigue and joint pain. This summer, Williams was forced to withdraw from two other tournaments because of her “energy level.”
