Verizon Communications has reportedly reached an agreement with two labor unions that represent the approximately 40,000 Verizon employees on strike. The two sides have reportedly agreed to a tentative four-year contract, drawn up during discussions mediated by the U.S. Department of Labor. Workers have been on strike since April 13, demanding better pay and increased job security.
