Despite a 2010 campaign that is still the target of a federal investigation, Democrat Vincent Gray will pursue a second term as the mayor of our nation’s capital. For months, Gray’s impending decision hung over the city’s politics. While detractors will certainly point out the investigations, Gray will likely run on a term that has seen D.C. continue its economic success over the past decade. While Gray himself has not been charged for the investigations, four aides have pleaded guilty to felonies.
