The results for Iraq's national eletction will be final on Friday. If the Sunni Ayad Allawi wins, will the Shiite majority country break out in violence. That's what a top aide to the current Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki predicted in a conversation with The Wall Street Journal. Instead of trying to build a national coalition, Maliki is shoring up support among Shiite parties, Ali Al Adeed said. "The threat of violence is a legitimate one," he told the paper.
