Viral Video of the Day: One Singer, 29 Voices

YouTuber impersonates celebs while singing original tune

Rob Cantor and his piano accompaniment Andrew Horowitz's original song, “Perfect,” is catchy on its own—think Ben Folds writing a contemporary Broadway showtune—but Cantor’s vocal impressions of celebrities and characters, from Family Guy’s Peter Griffin to Cher, make it special.

A couple of Cantor’s impressions miss the mark (can anyone really do Frank Sinatra?) but his spot-on Gwen Stefani and Shakira impressions are worth the view. There’s also his brief but stunning Billie Holliday vibrato.

In case you were worried: yes, there’s also a Christopher Walken impression in the mix, thus fulfilling the legal requirements of posting impression-based videos on YouTube. Rest easy.
