A Virginia man who wanted to start a “race war” by bombing black churches and Jewish synagogues pleaded guilty Friday to robbery conspiracy and illegal firearms charges. Robert Doyle allegedly held a meeting at his home in September to discuss the plot; and the FBI says that Doyle and an associate tried to buy weapons for an attack from an undercover agent posing as an illegal arms dealer. According to the Associated Press, Doyle planned to rob a silver and coin dealer for money that would fund the purchase of weapons and land that could be used to train for a race war.
