Lindsey Vonn led early in Wednesday’s giant slalom in Vancouver, but the race ended poorly for her as she crashed and injured her right pinkie. “I got a little bit too inside and lost my outside ski,” said Vonn, who has won a gold in downhill and a bronze in the Super-G. The crash, her second of the Olympics, dashed her hopes at a medal in the event. It’s unclear if Vonn will race in Friday’s slalom, her final Olympic event.
