Marquette Law School has released the results of a new poll, placing Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker 7 points ahead of Democratic opponent Tom Barrett. The survey, which sees 52 percent of likely voters supporting Walker and 45 percent eager to replace him with Barrett, predicts a victory for the controversial governor. DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Wednesday that the Democratic Party is "putting all of our effort into this fight." Speaking to supporters in Wisconsin, she said, "Scott Walker has worked hard to make sure that people think that he's the rock star of the right-wing Tea Party extremism that the Republican Party has allowed them to take over. And that's not what voters in Wisconsin want to see happen."
