Thought owning a Warhol was out of reach? Think again. As part of their ongoing Andy Warhol@Christie’s series, Christie’s International has opened the online auction block to over 120 original works by the iconic Pop artist. This time, it’s “Entertainers.” And, the bids are starting at $1,000. Photos of Mick Jagger, Cher, Dolly Parton, and Billy Joel -- as well as rare prints of Alfred Hitchcock -- are among the works that will be up for grabs. All works are sourced directly from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and the proceeds benefit the foundation’s grant-making programs for artists and art non-profits. The auction runs through October 30.
