Elizabeth Warren has already said she is “not running for president” in 2016, but that’s not stopping a growing chorus of supporters from nudging her toward the big race—literally. People chanted “Run, Liz, run!” at the Massachusetts senator during her recent speech at Netroots Nation, an annual convention of left-wing Democrats. Ready for Warren, a grassroots group laying the groundwork for a Warren 2016 bid, launched its website just this week and is looking for supporters. Though Warren herself has repeatedly said “I am not running for president,” that statement’s stubborn present-tense has made supporters hopeful for a future change of heart.
