The first-place Golden State Warriors staved off elimination in Thursday evening’s Western Conference Finals Game 5 by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-111. The Warriors out-rebounded the Thunder throughout the game and Golden State stars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson shot for 31 and 27 points respectively to outperform their opposition in a tight game. The Warriors head to Oklahoma down 3-2 in the series and will once again face elimination in Game 6 on Saturday evening.
