Two Russian fighter jets swooped down so close to a U.S. Navy destroyer on Tuesday that they left a wake in the water next to it. A U.S. defense official told Reuters that the maneuvers were clearly "simulated attack passes," and were followed by a Russian helicopter that passed several times and took pictures of the ship.
