Thus began Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway’s description of her candidate’s debate performance on ABC’s The View, and things only got stranger from there.
As the show’s panel listened in disbelief, Conway narrated the debate as she had seen it—a debate in which Trump showed chivalrous “restraint” and “presidential virtue,” responding only to the questions that were asked of him with well-prepared answers.
