      Mitt Accepts GOP Nomination

RomNom complete! Mitt Romney accepted the GOP's nomination for president on the final night of the Republican National Convention, attacking the president and discussing his family in his speech.

Clint Eastwood: 'We Gotta Let Him Go'

An empty chair stood in for President Obama at the RNC convention, and got taken to task by a disheveled Dirty Harry. Eastwood, the surprise guest, also took on Vice-President Biden, calling him “a grin with a body behind it.” The actor’s speech has been hailed as creepy by some and hilarious by others, but we’ll let you be the judge.

      Rubio's Rousing Rhetoric

Marco Rubio did his best Barack Obama impression Thursday, professing his profound belief in the American Dream. “If we are willing to do for our children what our parents did for us,” he said, “life in America can be better than it has ever been!” Do we sense a 2016 run?

Jeb Bush: My Brother 'Kept Us Safe'

W.’s brother’s got his back. Jeb Bush called out Barack Obama Thursday, saying: “Mr. President, it's time to stop blaming your predecessor for your failed economic policies.” Don’t mess with Texas—or Florida.

Gingrich: Let's 'Put Real Leadership in the White House'

Look who’s back on the national stage . Newt Gingrich and his wife Callista addressed the RNC convention Thursday, drawing parallels between Mitt Romney and Ronald Reagan (though a rumored hologram was sadly nowhere to be seen). The former speaker had a swipe for President Obama, accusing him of waging of “class warfare rhetoric.”

      Paul Ryan's iPod Joke

You're an old man, Mitt! Paul Ryan mocked his running mate's age and music selection in his speech, showing off his “cool” side by mentioning that his playlist “starts with AC/DC and it ends with Zeppelin.” As for Romney’s musical taste: “there are the songs on his iPod which I’ve heard on the campaign bus and I’ve heard it on many hotel elevators,” Ryan quipped.

      Huck Goes 'Godfather'

Between Paul Ryan’s musical references and Mike Huckabee’s movie one-lines, has the GOP gone pop culture? The one-time presidential candidate channeled his inner Brando Wednesday, telling Republicans to give the president “a proposition he can't refuse.” So, what is the offer? “Let's vote him out!” Huckabee said.

      McCain: Stop the Security Leaks!

John McCain might not be front and center at this convention, but that didn’t mean he was any less impassioned than in 2008. On the second night of speeches, the senator again accused President Obama of leaking classified security information for political gain. “The president has discouraged our friends and emboldened our enemies,” he said Wednesday.

      Condi Steals the Show

Ann Romney just got some competition. In a rousing speech, the former Secretary of State spoke about growing up in the prejudiced South, then eventually landing in the White House. “A little girl grows up in Jim Crow Birmingham,” Condoleezza Rice said in the impassioned speech. “Even if she can't have a hamburger at the Woolworth's lunch counter, she could become president of the United States if she wanted to be, and she becomes Secretary of State!”

Chris Christie: ‘Real Leaders Change Polls’

It’s not a real Chris Christie speech without at least one smackdown—and this attack on Obama, the most sound-bite-worthy of his keynote address on Tuesday, takes the line-of-the-speech award. “You see, Mr. President,” the New Jersey governor said, looking directly into the camera, “real leaders don’t follow polls; real leaders change polls!”

      Christie: Respect Trumps Love

What’s love got to do with politics? Not much, according to Christie. The best advice Christie’s mother ever gave him, he said, was that in life you sometimes have to choose between love and respect—and that he should choose respect. Christie then lambasted “our leaders today”—ahem, President Obama—who “have become paralyzed by [a] desire to be loved.”

Ann Romney: 'I Love You, Women!'

The would-be first lady used her spotlight on Tuesday to connect with women, praising mothers who “really hold this country together.” Seeming to channel Oprah, she said: “We’re the mothers, we’re the wives, we’re the grandmothers, we’re the big sisters, we’re the little sisters, and we are the daughters,” before exclaiming, “I love you, women!” Watch Ann Romeny’s full speech here.

      Rick Santorum’s Emotional Plea

The former presidential candidate grew emotional as he spoke about his disabled daughter, Bella at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday—before championing the “one party that reaches out their hands in love to lift up all God’s children, born and unborn.”

Santorum: ‘Stop the Assault on Marriage!’

Graduate high school, work hard, and get married before you have children. According to the former presidential candidate, those are the key three steps to avoiding poverty. Santorum stayed on message in his speech, urging the crowd that “we must stop the assault on marriage and the family in America today.”
