Smoke billows from a fire caused by clashes between Syrian rebels and forces loyal to the regime near the Quneitra crossing. Syrian regime forces retook the only crossing point along the ceasefire line after it was seized earlier by rebels, according to Israeli security personnel. The crossing is seen as strategically important because of its position in a demilitarized zone of the Golan Heights, most of which Israel seized from Syria in the 1967 Six-Day War.
