There’s a situation in this week’s issue of Life & Style—an exclusive interview with the controversial guido and guiedette cast of MTV’s smash hit, Jersey Shore. Though the Seaside Heights inhabitants deny steroid use, they admit to hitting the bottle hard. “She wakes up drinking and goes to bed drinking,” unlikely mom-of-the-house JWoww says of Snooki, the recipient of the punch heard ‘round the world. The bump-loving BFFs may soon have something else in common. “I keep staring at JWoww’s boobs and I’m like, ‘I want a boob lift,’” reveals Snooki. “I’m definitely looking into [it].” Rosie O’Donnell has come clean about her love life, entering a self-described “yummy” new romance with artist/writer Tracy Kachtick-Anders, who met the star through her Web site. Two weeks after Brittany Murphy’s untimely death, Life & Style reveals a peculiar relationship between Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack, and her mother, Sharon Murphy, who lived with the couple since they married in April 2007. Monjack is still living in the $3.8 million mansion with his mother-in-law, according to Monjack’s mother.

Playgirl centerfold Levi Johnston got an unpleasant Christmas present when Bristol Palin decided to seek full custody of their 1-year-old son Tripp. In the revealing court papers, the 19-year-old former-governor’s daughter mentioned Johnston’s “risqué modeling” and lack of a regular job. She also assures her ex-fiancé her mother was not involved in the filing. Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan are continuing to make beautiful music together. But are they being honest with themselves? An insider reveals the Smashing Pumpkins singer “likes her because she’s a blonde with big boobs.” The love connection may be deeper for Russell Brand, who proposed to girlfriend Katy Perry on New Year’s Eve while on vacation in Jaipur, India. And as the world continues to wonder where Tiger Woods is, Us proposes the fallen golfer is at billionaire Jim Dolan’s home, where he’s rumored to be seeing a shrink. (A spokesman, however, denies those reports.) A source also claims he called estranged wife Elin Nordegren incessantly while she vacationed at a French chalet.

The promise rings came off for the eldest of Disney’s power trio, Kevin Jonas, and his new wife Danielle Deleasa. The two married at a Long Island castle on December 19, where brother Joe Jonas revealed during his toast he “hit on Danielle first.” While the Jonases made their commitment and Carrie Underwood did too (announcing her engagement to NHL star Mike Fisher), two other young relationships flamed out before the new year. Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole and Jerry Ferrara and Jamie-Lynn Sigler didn’t make it to 2010. And People delves into Hollywood’s loss of Brittany Murphy, who reportedly suffered from a heart condition called mitral valve prolapse, which is usually not life-threatening. She also had a history of diabetes, according to her mother, and an L.A. coroner discovered bottles of painkillers hydrocodone and Vicoprofen at her home. Though the exact cause of death has yet to be determined, some also cite her struggles with her weight. “She didn’t want to be the fat girl from Clueless,” one friend told the magazine.

Keeping up with their Kardashian kick, Ok! reveals how Kim lost 15 pounds. (Hint: QuickTrim may have been involved.) Pint-size Jersey Shore star Snooki gets de-poufed of her signature “hair bump” style, of which she says, “I sometimes spray it for 20 minutes straight.” Notorious limelight haters Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson reportedly spent their New Year’s on the Isle of Wight, five miles off of mainland U.K. “Their time apart has added spice to things,” a source says of the reunited Twilight twosome. Ok! is also claiming John Mayer came between the now-separated Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift. “John’s dad is telling everyone John has a thing for Swift,” a friend tells the magazine. While that pair heats up, newly brunette Britney Spears and Jason Trawick may be cooling things down. “It looks like it’s over,” a source says, claiming the “Circus” singer is “fed up with Jason telling her what to do.” And Tiger Woods may have given Elin Nordegren a very generous Christmas present—a stocking stuffed with $300 million. Perhaps he really can buy love?

Angelina Jolie looked stressed on the set of her movie Salt, photographed having a tense phone conversation and an onlooker said, “she seemed to be furious with whomever she was talking to.” Jolie was allegedly upset that Brad Pitt received a Christmas present from his ex, Jennifer Aniston, and later made plans to meet up with her on New Year’s Eve in Miami. Sources say that Jolie thinks “if he’s going to sneak around with another woman, she’d rather it be ‘anyone’ but Jen.” Tensions have been building between the pair for months, and a recent visit from Brad’s brother Doug was an attempt at mediation. Brad’s ultimate goal? “He’s hoping to work out a way to leave Angie, be with Jen, and keep the kids happy,” an insider told the magazine. Meanwhile, Britney Spears’ boyfriend Jason Trawick has been seen around Los Angeles with several other women, in what could be a reaction to Spears’ push for commitment. Sources say that Spears has been shopping around Beverly Hills for her own engagement ring and “wants to be with him 24/7.” Things are going swimmingly for Rihanna, who is moving on from Chris Brown with L.A. Dodgers player Matt Kemp. The two were spotted making out while vacationing together in Mexico over the holidays.

The Enquirer has a more extreme version of the fights between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, claiming that while embroiled in a jealous rage over Pitt’s relationship with Jennifer Aniston, Jolie “was grabbing at him, pushing him around, taking swings and threatening to punch him out… she was fully intent on scratching Brad’s eyes out.” Jolie was later photographed around town with what appeared to be blood on her hand, possibly from the set of her spy thriller Salt. Teen wolf Taylor Lautner has big plans to win back Taylor Swift and a friend told the Enquirer that the Twilight star “isn’t accepting her rejection. The way he sees it, this is nothing more than a minor setback in an enduring love affair.” And, in an even weirder twist to Morgan Freeman’s affair with his 27-year-old step-granddaughter E’Dena Hines, sources say the couple is planning on having kids and that “E’Dena believes if she can give him a baby, she would win his heart forever.”

Meg Ryan has raised eyebrows lately with her newly thin appearance, reportedly dropping 25 pounds over the past two years through a regime of constant exercise and obsessive dieting. Sources say that the romantic-comedy regular has changed her appearance due to fear of aging and stress over her recent breakup with Graham King. Ryan isn’t the only celebrity with weight on her mind, and before Charlie Sheen allegedly held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her, wife Brooke Mueller worried that he would leave her if she didn’t lose the baby weight fast enough. “Charlie likes his women thin,” Mueller reportedly told friends. The magazine also sheds light on the couple’s history of substance abuse, Sheen’s habit of domestic violence, and negligent parenting of the couple’s twin boys. In the wake of the scandal, Sheen allegedly offered Mueller $1 million to stay in the marriage, but a source said, “she told Charlie she wants $3.5 million!” In this week’s Jersey Shore news, Jenni “J-Woww” Farley admitted to plastic surgery to get rid of scars and cellulite from her former days as an overweight teenager. “She wasn’t obese, but she was definitely heavy,” a friend explained.
