Call it fun, call it narcissism—reality-TV star Kim Kardashian loves, loves, loves posting photos of herself in bikinis. But does she really need to put up so many? We examine the evidence.
Doing something a little unusual, Kim got creative in black-and-white and posed underwater. “Air needs me,” she tweeted, donning a dark-colored bikini and spending a fun summer day with her family on Aug. 5.
Tweeting yet another photo of herself on the same day, Kim popped up again, but this time in color. She looked supernatural as she floated in the water with her hair swaying behind her. “Swim Good I,” she tweeted. Forget the swimming. We see your curves, Kim!
Taking a break from her poolside fun, Kim refueled on some fizzy orange soda. “Sipping on some Crush,” Kim tweeted, sporting wet waves and a snakeskin bikini that very same day.
Three days earlier, Kim posted another bikini shot. This time from home. Her tweet was a simple bikini character on Aug. 2. The hash tags, though—#nofilter, #nophotoshop—seemed to be the tweet. We get it; you look great, with and without Photoshop.
Although she stayed dry, Kim made a splash in this figure-hugging black leather bikini. “Good morning Miami,” she tweeted on July 15.
Looking fresh in a shimmery beige bikini this a.m., Kim posed for another camera. “Sunrise summertime shoot! #nofilter #nophotoshop,” she tweeted on July 11. OK, no Photoshop now, but there will be once this image hits the magazines.
Kim took a dip in the water and emerged as a goddess on July 17. With nude lips, smoky eyes, and a starry bikini, Kim tweeted, “It’s HOT in LA today…pool time!!!” We don’t know what’s hotter, the weather or Kim Kardashian. Tough call.
Looking sizzling hot in a black bondage-style one piece with cherry-red glossy lips, diamond-lined hoop earrings, and a striking silver pendant, Kim was hard at work on Jan. 13, 2011. “Photo shoot time! @JasonfBH jewels and red lips! #2sexy2tweet?” she wrote. “#2sexy2tweet?” Huh? You may be on to something, Kim!
Revenge is sweet, isn’t it, Kim? Working a pink pout and massive aviators, Kim put her famous curves on display for the whole world—but perhaps she was really aiming at her newly ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush. She tweeted, “Working on my tan today! What a relaxing day on the boat with my sisters!” on March 27, 2010, in a studded metallic string bikini.
Oh, take 2! Kim’s revenge got sweeter that same day. She slipped on a new bikini, posed on a yacht, and had her photo taken. Naturally, she posted the picture to Twitter and said, “Another beautiful Miami day on the boat!” And another point for you, Kim.
Back on Nov. 22, 2009, Kim looked tan and toned. Oh, and she appeared to be just as hot as she is now. And she knew it. “Quick Trim photo shoot today in Miami! I finally feel I’ve reached my goal!” She and her sister Khloé Kardashian endorsed the Quick Trim weight-loss system, then got into hot water over the product’s false claims.
Ah, the first bikini photo of Kim on Twitter ever, circa Sept. 2, 2009. And one of many to come! On this day, it appeared Kim felt super-confident, as she blew a kiss to her fans. “A sneak peek at our Quick Trim photo shoot!” she tweeted, sporting a blond hairdo and a frilly black bikini.
