America will have a new Idol Wednesday night, and Simon Cowell isn't playing coy when it comes to his predictions. Idol's harshest judge went to fellow panelist Ellen DeGeneres's daytime show to reveal that he believes Lee DeWyze will take the crown. It wasn't always this way, though, as Cowell told Ellen that "five or six weeks ago, 100 percent, I would have said Crystal [Bowersox]." What caused the change of heart? To Simon, "There's something about [Lee], the fact that he's worked in a paint shop, he's talented. He hasn't had any real breaks in his life, and this has given him a shot. I like that." Ellen and Simon also engaged in playful banter on the subject of Simon's impending departure and the two judges' relationship, with Simon jokingly asking the talk show host, "Who knew I'd like you so much?" Randy Jackson also voiced his support for DeWyze, sharing his prediction on Lopez Tonight.
