Wife Beats Husband in Election

Talk about an awkward morning after. A bipartisan husband and wife went head-to-head in the Waterville, Maine race for a warden seat, with the wife coming out on top on Tuesday night by a 127-76 vote. Jennifer Johnson was nominated by the Democratic City Committee, while her husband, David, was supported by Republicans. She said they took the challenge as a way to highlight public service and encourage voters to get to the polls.
