Will and Kate Attend First Public Event

Prince William and Kate Middleton, now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, attended their first public event since the wedding. The couple appeared at a charity gala dinner for Absolute Return for Kids, which funds education projects for disadvantaged youth. William announced that Kate had joined the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry, which also raises money for causes associated with young people, and that their organization would be partnering with ARK. Elizabeth Hurley, David Furnish, and Colin Firth also attended.
