Apple will unveil the iPad 2 on Wednesday, but some people are more curious to see whether Steve Jobs will show up. BoomTown’s Kara Swisher says Jobs is “definitely considering” an appearance, perhaps standing briefly on stage with Apple’s other executives.
And what of the iPad 2? “For the iPad 2 don’t get your hopes up too high. That’s all I’m going to say,” an Apple staffer tells Cult of Mac. “They’ve had a number of problems along the way, and the third-generation iPad is the one to make a song and a dance about.” The iPad 3 is expected to be released later this year.
