These two tabloid mainstays had a particularly wild relationship the first time around, marrying in Miami in May 2007, kicking off years of much-discussed drug and alcohol addictions and public fights. But after the 26-year-old Winehouse found her out her beloved husband, Blake, was cheating on her and expecting a child with a woman he met in rehab, she filed for divorce, which was granted five months ago. But despite their chaotic past, Blake’s mother is saying the couple is ready to get hitched again when her son is out of rehab. “Their love is so powerful nothing will stop them from being together whatever anyone else thinks. They've battled their demons and are absolutely off drugs," she said. One person not thrilled with the supposed news is Amy’s father, Mitch, who claims her drug use “really kicked off when they got together.” Getting remarried is fine, but is it too much to ask Amy to finally finish her Back to Black follow-up?

One of Hollywood’s longtime off- and on-again couples, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith’s romance began while they were starring in The Harrad Experiment when he was 22 and she was 14. They had a proper Vegas wedding in 1976, when Griffith was 18, and stayed together for less than a year. After a decade-long separation, they reconciled while Griffith was in the middle of filming Working Girl, and Johnson is credited for helping her though rehab. They had a child and remarried in 1989, and stayed together until 1996. Griffith eventually left her Miami Vice man for Antonio Banderas.

Starting at the age of 18, Liz Taylor was married eight times, widowed once, and divorced seven times. After walking down the aisle Conrad Hilton, Michael Wilding, Michael Todd, and Eddie Fisher, came her most famous relationship with Richard Burton. The Welsh star (who married five times himself) wed the violet-eyed actress in 1964 after stealing her away from Fisher while they filmed Cleopatra, and they were married for ten years. A mere 15 months after their first divorce was finalized in 1974, they remarried, but stayed together for less than a year. Both went on to wed other people, but two months ago Burton’s niece said that after seeing pictures of her late uncle at Taylor’s Bel Air home, she believes the third time would have been the charm, saying, “They were mad about each other. They were soul mates. It was a great love story.”

The King of Cable has seven divorces under his belt, but liked one wife so much he married her twice. In 1961, King married Playboy bunny Alene Akins, adopted her son Andy, and stayed with her for two years. After their first divorce, and the talk show host’s in-between quickie marriage to Mickey Sutphin, King and Alene tied the knot again in 1968, but Take Two only lasted three more years. One good thing came out of their two attempts—King and his daughter Chaia wrote Daddy Day, Daughter Day, a children’s book chronicling a father and daughter’s views of divorce and parenting.

Eminem’s relationship with his wife was never kept under-the-radar—their ups and downs have been rapped about on his albums for years. A 15-year-old Marshall Mathers met future wife Kimberley Anne Scott in high school, and they married in a small ceremony ten years later, in 1999. One year into their marriage, the rapper penned the not-quite-a-love song “Kim” depicting his wife’s gruesome death, which kicked off a downward spiral for the lovebirds. Kim attempted suicide, and one month later Eminem filed for divorce, spurring Kim to file a $10 million defamation lawsuit over his ode to her. Their first divorce was finalized in 2001, but after five years apart, the couple remarried in 2006. Eminem’s grandmother was not so smitten with the idea, saying, “He needs to think twice abut marrying her again, or at least get a pre-nup this time around.” Good thing he listened to granny—their second marriage lasted less than a year.

A few years after actress Jane Wyman divorced future president Ronald Reagan, she married music director Fred Karger in 1952. The divorce was finalized three years later. Then, in 1961 Wyman and Karger surprised Hollywood and remarried. That time, the relationship lasted until 1965. He accused her of walking out on him; she accused him of “grievous mental cruelty.”

Modern advice books on how to make your marriage last should include the warning that showcasing it on reality TV brings certain doom. Drummer Travis Barker of Blink-182 and beauty queen Shanna Moakler wed in 2004, were featured on the MTV series Meet the Barkers from 2005 to 2006, and by 2007, they split. But when Barker was seriously injured in a plane crash in September 2008, Moakler flew to be by his side as he recovered. They seriously flirted with the idea of remarrying after the accident, but broke up again in April of this year. But now that Blink-182 is attempting a comeback tour, is a reunion for the Twitter-happy couple not far behind?

Comedian Richard Pryor was so serious about marriage, he did it seven times. To five different women. He married producer Flynn Belaine twice—the first marriage, in 1986, lasted less than a year; the second, in 1990, lasted 15 months. Before and after his marriages to Belaine, Pryor wed Jennifer Lee, to whom he was still married at his death in 2005. At the very least, his multiple unions provided plenty of stand-up material. He once said, “Marriage is really tough because you have to deal with feelings…and lawyers."

The singer and motocross racer first married in 2006, but split two years later due to their busy schedules. The duo never officially divorced, citing annoying paperwork and a laissez-faire approach to marriage. Their feelings for one another never went away though; they merely "needed time apart to realize that they wanted to continue their marriage". After a break, the pair reunited this April and have discussed saying “we do.”

The popular screen siren had her choice of men for over three decades. Turner was married and divorced eight times, two of which were with actor-restaurateur Josef Stephen Crane. The couple tied the knot in 1942, but after it was discovered Crane’s first marriage was not yet finalized, his union with Turner was annulled. They were separated for a short period of time—during which time Crane, who had a life as turbulent as his sometimes-wife, tried to commit suicide—and remarried in 1943, staying together for one year for their child, Cheryl. Their daughter would later become famous at age 14 for defending her mother and killing Turner’s lover, Johnny Stompanato,

This pair is used to getting tongues wagging about their relationship—particularly when videos are involved. The first time Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson married in 1995, it was after an four-day courtship. In place of wedding bands, the actress/Playboy model and Motley Crue drummer tattooed one another's names on their ring fingers. Since then, the controversial couple has separated twice and gotten back together twice, only to ultimately drift apart again. Throw in a sex tape, spousal abuse charges, and custody wars, and it’s no wonder Lee titled one of his albums "Never a Dull Moment."

Seal and Heidi Klum continued the celebration of their picture-perfect marriage in May with an all-in-good-fun renewal of their wedding vows. To honor four years of their union, the two held a white trash ceremony at which Seal showed up in a mullet and jean jacket and Klum in cornrows and a glittery veil. Klum was also pregnant with the couple's third child at the time. The second time around may have been a joke, but their marriage certainly isn't.
