Someone in D.C. doesn’t like Republicans: an unidentified gunman shot up the windows of the D.C. Republican Committee near 13th and K Streets in the capital. Paul Craney, the group’s executive director, said he got a call from the office’s alarm company Wednesday morning but didn’t pick up. The alarm was on when he arrived at work, but he still didn’t notice the shattered windows until he went out for lunch. He then found pieces of BB-sized shot on the sidewalk nearby. The hair salon next door seemed to have survived the shooting unscathed, and Craney said his landlord had called the police.
